Deer's Glade Caravan And Camping Park

We've just returned from 3 fabulous days camping at Deers Glade and it couldn't have been much better! Our pitch was a lovely size and location and the whole park is just so picturesque. The shop is well stocked if a little pricey and the amenities were lovely and clean and well maintained. The park for the children was great too. Can't wait to go back!

Just left here after a wonderful 2 week stay in our caravan. We had a massive grass pitch surrounded by 3 hedges facilities that are excellent very clean with brilliant showers no pressing buttons every 30 seconds there's 2 shower blocks with 2 showers in each block I only waited once for the shower. The site is brilliant for young families with play areas and the resident goats there is a well fenced off fishing lake laundry in each service block and different food vendors turn up every night the site is in easy driving distance from many of north Norfolk attractions the staff were all very friendly and helpful we loved this site so much that we booked for next year while we were there

I went during halfterm October 2023 and must say before we arrived they had a months rain in a day than in a normal month. So the pitches were water logged which they had already moved us from the worst of it. However pitch we were put on was hardstanding you would never get van and awning on it without going onto grass as they are very narrow. The grass was underwater and we were unable yo utilise the entire pitch. The area is obviously clay heavy but putting in drainage would be beneficial as when it rained again while we were there the hard standing was then under water, so much so that I had to dig channels for water to follow. Overall the site is lovely, and during any other time I'm sure it's fine, we were just unlucky. We do intend on going back, but maybe during warmer months. The toilets and shower are top notch. 1 small downside is people come here with pets as there is alot of walks near by, so maybe a pet shower of some sort.

Good welcome, facilities are excellent, real hot water for those pans and the toilets are immaculate. Very well laid out with one way traffic system. The space of the pitch with the box hedges was great value and very well maintained. Kids are catered for really well with play equipment and some friendly goats. Very well stocked shop on site where you can use an external freezer if you need to. Overall one of the best sites we have been to. If you want phone signal or good Wi-Fi maybe to work from home a bit on vacation this will not work. Rural settings have their connectivity challenges but the site have a free Wi-Fi service which is just about enough to stay in touch with the family back home but is not “work time” reliable. I suppose you go away for a few days to forget about all that stuff. Easy reach of Cromer for a fresh crab and the broads are easily accessible. Great base to have so we will come again.
